Redistricting Task Force

The Redistricting Task Force redraws San Francisco's supervisorial district boundaries after each decennial federal census, as mandated by Charter sec. 13.110. Its nine members - three appointed by the Board of Supervisors, three by the Mayor, and three by the Elections Commission - adopt final district lines; the Board of Supervisors may not revise the boundaries the Task Force establishes.
